Senate Extends Until 2007 Ban On Internet Access Tax

The Senate agreed Thursday to extend a ban on taxes on Internet access for another four years, approving a compromise between those who had wanted to make the restrictions permanent and opponents who said they would deny needed revenue to state and local governments.
