Huge Igloo We Built And Slept In

Photos from January 1982.
This blog post is a follow-up to two Tweets on the same subject today:
- When we were in high school in Maine, my brother and I built a huge igloo and slept overnight in it.
- Igloo dimensions (inside) were 8' long, 4.5' wide, 5' tall. 2' thick walls. It lasted until St. Patrick's Day.
Here are the photos. These are scanned Polaroid instant photos, so the quality isn't great. The kid in the blue hat is me, the kid in the blue coat is my brother Mark.
It was 27 years ago, but in some ways it feels like just yesterday.

@chrissyhepler My 1982 igloo photos are here: http://erikjheels.com/?p=1328
That is awesome! Great pictures! What was the temperature like in the igloo?
Greetings Paul,
It was actually very warm inside. We had to punch a hole near the roof in order to let some of the heat out. We ran an extension cord out there for a light and a clock-radio. One of our cats joined us for part of the night. Good memories.
Regards,
Erik
